A refreshing and easy-to-make sparkling strawberry lemonade punch perfect for big batches and summer gatherings. It balances sweet, tart, and fizzy flavors with fresh strawberries, lemon juice, and sparkling water.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 4 large lemons, juiced (about 1 cup lemon juice)
  • ½ to ¾ cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste; can substitute with honey or agave nectar)
  • 2 cups cold water (for simple syrup)
  • 4 cups sparkling water or club soda, chilled
  • Ice cubes, as needed
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)
  • Sliced strawberries and lemon wheels (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Make the simple syrup by combining ½ cup granulated sugar and 2 cups cold water in a small saucepan. Heat over medium, stirring until sugar dissolves completely. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature (about 15 minutes).
  2. Hull and halve about 2 cups fresh strawberries. Transfer to a blender or food processor.
  3. Pulse the strawberries until smooth but still slightly textured, about 30 seconds.
  4. Juice 4 large lemons to yield approximately 1 cup fresh lemon juice. Pour the juice into a large pitcher or punch bowl.
  5. Add the cooled simple syrup and blended strawberries to the lemon juice. Stir gently to mix well.
  6. Just before serving, pour in 4 cups chilled sparkling water or club soda. Stir lightly to keep the bubbles intact.
  7. Fill glasses with ice cubes, ladle the punch over, and garnish with fresh mint leaves, sliced strawberries, and lemon wheels if desired. Serve immediately for best fizz.

Notes

Add sparkling water just before serving to maintain fizz. The recipe can be made up to 24 hours ahead by preparing the lemon juice, simple syrup, and strawberry puree, then refrigerating. Use frozen strawberries in winter after thawing and draining excess liquid. For low-sugar versions, substitute sugar with erythritol or monk fruit sweetener. Garnish with fresh mint, sliced strawberries, and lemon wheels for a festive look.
