Crunchy, tangy, and addictive zucchini chips made in an air fryer with homemade ranch seasoning dust. A quick, healthy snack perfect for busy days and light cravings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium zucchinis, sliced into 1/4-inch rounds
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (or avocado oil)
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon buttermilk powder (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry 2 medium zucchinis. Slice into 1/4-inch thick rounds using a sharp knife or mandoline slicer.
  2. In a small bowl, combine dried parsley, dried dill weed, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and buttermilk powder if using. Mix well to make ranch seasoning dust.
  3. Place zucchini slices in a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and toss gently to coat.
  4. Sprinkle ranch seasoning dust over zucchini and toss again until evenly coated. If using Parmesan, sprinkle grated cheese and toss lightly.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3-5 minutes.
  6. Spray air fryer basket lightly with cooking spray. Arrange zucchini slices in a single layer without overlapping.
  7. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping slices halfway through at about 6 minutes, until golden and crispy.
  8. Remove chips and transfer to a wire rack or paper towel-lined plate. Let cool for 5 minutes to crisp further.
  9. Serve warm or at room temperature. Store cooled chips in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.

Notes

Pat zucchini slices dry before seasoning to avoid sogginess. Cook in a single layer to ensure crispiness. Flip chips halfway through cooking for even browning. If chips are soft after cooking, air fry for an additional 2-3 minutes. Parmesan cheese adds crunch but watch closely to prevent burning. For dairy-free, omit Parmesan and buttermilk powder and use plant-based oil.
