Quick and easy air fryer steak bites tossed in garlic butter for a crispy, buttery, and flavorful snack or appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • Pinch of smoked paprika or chili flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels and season evenly with salt and pepper.
  2. Melt the butter gently in a small pan or microwave-safe bowl. Stir in minced garlic and let it infuse for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3 minutes.
  4. Toss the steak cubes with olive oil to help crisp them in the air fryer.
  5. Arrange the steak cubes in a single layer in the air fryer basket, avoiding overcrowding.
  6. Air fry for 5 minutes at 400°F. Open the basket and toss the steak bites with half of the garlic butter.
  7. Return to the air fryer and cook for another 4-5 minutes, tossing halfway through if desired.
  8. Once cooked, toss the steak bites in the remaining garlic butter. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra salt if needed.
  9. Serve immediately while hot and crispy.

Notes

Patting the steak dry and not overcrowding the air fryer basket are crucial for crispiness. Preheat the air fryer for best results. Toss steak bites with garlic butter halfway through cooking to enhance flavor and coating. Bring steak to room temperature before cooking for even doneness. Use a sharp knife to cut uniform cubes.
