A quick and easy creamy tropical mango smoothie blending ripe mangoes, coconut milk, and Greek yogurt for a refreshing and indulgent treat perfect for summer or any time you need a sweet pick-me-up.

Ingredients

  • 1 large ripe mango, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup (240 ml) full-fat canned coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup (120 g) plain full-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 medium ripe banana, frozen if desired
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) fresh lime juice
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons (1530 ml) honey or agave syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Peel the mango carefully and dice into roughly 1-inch pieces.
  2. If using fresh banana, peel, slice, and freeze for at least 1 hour.
  3. Add coconut milk and Greek yogurt to the blender.
  4. Add diced mango and frozen banana slices to the blender.
  5. Pour in fresh lime juice.
  6. Add honey or agave syrup to taste.
  7. Add ice cubes if a colder smoothie is desired.
  8. Blend on high speed for 45 seconds to 1 minute until smooth and creamy.
  9. Adjust consistency by adding coconut milk or water if too thick, or more frozen banana or ice if too thin.
  10. Serve immediately, optionally garnished with a mango wedge or mint sprig.

Notes

Use ripe mangoes for best flavor. Freeze banana for thicker texture. Adjust sweetness with honey or agave syrup. Add ice cubes sparingly to avoid watering down. Taste and tweak lime juice and sweetener before serving. For vegan option, substitute Greek yogurt with coconut or almond yogurt and honey with agave syrup.
